The OneSelf projects are narrative portraits from a photo session with artist Todd Gieseler. Throughout the session, one of us held the remote to activate the 35 mm camera shutter. Prints on translucent paper used digital data scanned from hand-printed black & white silver gelatin prints. Prints in the five print sequence incorporate mezzotint patterns that appear more like traditional aquatint prints then photographic prints.
